Sunbird SACCO celebrated its long-serving members during its 34th AGM held on 28th March, 2026 at Mount Soche Hotel. Among those recognized was Mrs. Nellie Mpoma, who has been a member of Sunbird SACCO for 34 years.

Sharing her experience, Mrs. Mpoma said: "Sunbird SACCO has helped me a lot through flexible loans with low interest rates. Through the SACCO, I have managed to build a modern house in my village and educate all my children. I encourage everyone never to quit the SACCO but instead attract more people to join. Take every opportunity, even when traveling in a minibus, to encourage someone to join the SACCO"

The Guest of Honour, Mr. Bonface Mlowoka, reminded members about the importance of timely loan repayment and encouraged all employers to remit member monthly deductions to SACCO on time.
